Health department facilities have reopened and many services are operating at limited capacity. Reproductive health and immunization clinic services are available by appointment. Please call 970-498-6767 for more information or to schedule.

Birth and death certificates can be obtained online, by mail, or by fax. Visit the webpage linked below for Birth and Death Records for more information.

  • Water samples for testing can be dropped off at our Fort Collins office Tuesday between 8am and 4pm. Holidays may impact the ability to accept water samples due to the requirements of the testing lab. Please check with us about bringing water samples if a holiday falls in a given week.

First Positive West Nile Virus Mosquitoes Found in Larimer County

https://www.larimer.org/health/communicable-disease/west-nile-virusThe first positive West Nile virus mosquitoes have been found in Larimer County this year. Positive mosquitoes were found in southeast Fort Collins. No human cases have been reported in Colorado so far this year.


Mosquito numbers are abundant in many areas of the County. It is a good time to remind people to protect themselves from West Nile virus by taking steps to avoid being bitten. That can easily be done by using an effective repellent or staying indoors when mosquitoes are biting.
