On February 10, 2019 the Larimer County Coroner's Office investigated the death of a Larimer County jail inmate who was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies after being found hanging by a sheet in a single occupant jail cell on 1/25/2019.

William Jason Wheeler, age 43 of Loveland, Colorado died on February 8, 2019.  An autopsy was performed on February 9, 2019 by Larimer County Coroner Office who determined the Manner of Death is Homicide and Cause of Death is Asphyxiation.
