Loveland Fire Rescue Authority has adopted a new Fire Code including rules for construction in their designated Wildfire Hazard Area. All new homes, additions of over 200 sq. ft., reroofing of 100 sq. ft. or more, decks and fences require an additional permit and inspection approvals through Loveland Fire.

Effective August 1, 2023, Larimer County will begin enforcing the 2023 National Electrical Code (based on the State of Colorado adoption). All permits issued as of August 1, 2023, will need to comply with the 2023 NEC.
