The role of the Environmental and Science Advisory Board is to advise the Board of County Commissioners and appropriate departments on environmental issues that affect Larimer County.

The Advisory Board publishes an annual report which describes the activities of the previous year and lists priorities for the future. Examples of specific projects include co-sponsoring an annual Environmental Stewardship Awards program with the County Commissioners, and review and comment on environmental projects such as the County's master plan and land use code.
