Larimer County Forestry is dedicated to serving the citizens of Larimer County and assisting with questions and concerns about vegetation, primarily woody plants and trees. It is the intent of the County Forester to respond to all questions in a timely manner, which may be a site visit, telephone call or email, or directing someone to the person or agency that will provide the best information. These services are for both urban and traditional forests.

Larimer County has experienced a number of destructive tree pest events that will affect private property in both the flatlands and mountainous areas of the county for years to come. Continuing and new issues are on the horizon, but with continued efforts by both private citizens and Larimer County, we can preserve our wonderful landscape.

Functions

  • Promote forest health education and awareness by way of community presentations and site visits
