CANCELED: SEEK Station: Bald Eagle Viewing

This program is canceled due to the weather. Check out the calendar for upcoming dates.

Enjoy watching the bald eagles that nest north of River Bluffs Open Space. Larimer County volunteer naturalist Carl Sorrentino, who has been viewing the bald eagles at River Bluffs Open Space for 20 years, will share eagle facts, history and sounds as well as information about the nest, the eagles “favorite hunting tree,” and more.

Spotting scopes will be available for viewing but please bring binoculars or a spotting scope if you have them. There will be good and safe viewing right from the trail head area. All ages and abilities are welcome.

This is an open-house style event so stop in anytime during the program and highlights will be repeated as new guests arrive.

Dress warmly for winter temperatures (winter hats, gloves, winter jacket, boots, warm socks, etc.)

THIS EVENT IS WEATHER DEPENDANT.
Please register to receive updates or check here to confirm before heading out. This program will be held again on Saturday's through March so you can stop in again to see what the eagles and eaglets are up to .
