Make the most of your summer. Every spring, creative programs are launched to prepare young action-takers for their next step in employment. Summer program participants gain exposure to interesting careers, entrepreneurship & winning summer job hunt practices.

Featured Seasonal Programs

High School Summer Internship Programs 

Youth ages 16-18. Do something more with your summer. Apply for a PAID ($13 per hour) summer internship! The opportunities available are in a variety of career pathways with positions ranging from graphics intern, shop learner, purchasing/quality intern, 3D printing technician, marketing/operations, research, & many more!

Internships are supported by NoCo Manufacturing Sector Partnership, Northern Colorado Health Sector Partnership, Larimer County Department of Health, & Larimer County Economic & Workforce Development.

Gain insight & valuable information to support your summer job search.  This newsletter runs weekly during the months of February through August and then will reduce to monthly distribution from September through January. Be a part of something that matters. Get your boots on the ground & help sustain our natural resources. For ages 16-25, corpsmembers gain valuable experience working in teams, developing personal & professional skills, while learning about local conservation efforts. We offer multiple seasonal Corps programs every year.

Career Road Trips 2020

For ages 14-24.  Take a ride with Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development to experience careers of the future. See behind the scenes of local businesses & get ideas from real professionals on how to get to your dream career. Just like the open road, the possibilities are endless & you just need a glimpse in the right direction to find your way!  Career Road Trips is a summer program.

Youth ages 14-24. Beat the competition & win your summer job. The CareerRise Team is offering a series of workshops to give youth & young adults confidence in their job search.

Youth ages 18 & younger. This 5-part workshop will assist you in identifying & preparing a business plan & will wrap up with youth presenting their business plan to local business leaders & compete for up to $2,200 in cash awards.
