Make the most of your summer. Every spring, creative programs are launched to prepare young action-takers for their next step in employment. Summer program participants gain exposure to interesting careers, entrepreneurship and winning summer job hunt practices.

High School Summer Internship Programs 

Youth ages 16-18. Do something more with your summer. Apply for a PAID summer internship in manufacturing or healthcare. Internships are supported by NoCo Manufacturing Sector Partnership, Northern Colorado Health Sector Partnership, & Larimer County Economic & Workforce Development.

For ages 14-24.  Take a ride with Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development to experience careers of the future. See behind the scenes of local businesses and get ideas from real professionals on how to get to your dream career. Just like the open road, the possibilities are endless and you just need a glimpse in the right direction to find your way!  Career Road Trips is a summer program.

Larimer County Conservation Corps

Be a part of something that matters. Get your boots on the ground and help sustain our natural resources. For ages 16-25, corpsmembers gain valuable experience working in teams, developing personal and professional skills, while learning about local conservation efforts. We offer multiple seasonal Corps programs every year.

Young Entrepreneur Tournament (YET) 

Applications closed for 2019

Youth ages 18 and younger. This 5-part workshop will assist you in identifying and preparing a business plan and will wrap up with youth presenting their business plan to local business leaders and compete for a cash award.
