Campground Fire Safety Project
Over the winter months, debris such as pine needles and dead grasses can build up around our campgrounds. This debris can become a fire hazard during the dry summer months. Help prepare one of our campgrounds for the summer season by removing this debris to make our campsites fire safe. Volunteers will rake up, gather and bag pine needles & other debris throughout Eagle campground at Carter Lake. Gather your family or group to spend a beautiful morning working outside with this fun fire mitigation project.

Ages 8 yrs - adult.

Volunteers will need to:
bring a mask and practice COVID social distancing guidelines when not with their family group.
bring your own rake and work gloves
bring water & snacks as needed
have sun protection (sun glasses, hat, sunscreen)
wear clothing appropriate for working and the weather

Volunteers will meet at the Eagle Campground shower house just passed the picnic area. Directions will be in the confirmation email. Parking passes will be provided.
