Moon Walk
Our ever constant neighbor, the contrasting dark and light of the moon's surface sparks the human imagination. On this special night hike of Horsetooth Mountain Open Space, we'll learn the science and stories behind the moon and discover nature in a new way. Hike with us as the full moon lights our way. Mysteries of the night are revealed by the light of the full moon. We'll make a loop combining South Ridge Trail, Horsetooth Rock Trail and Horsetooth Falls Trail to get the best view.

Best for participants ages 10 years & older. Participants will meet at the picnic tables near the trailhead. Hike rating: moderate - 2 miles round trip, some steep terrain, uneven/rocky surface.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear appropriate footwear and carry water for the trail.
Program is free, but registration is required. Purchase of parking permit also required.
