**UPDATE** Inmate Jail Death – 01/06/2024
On January 6, 2024, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to Poudre Valley Hospital Emergency Department to investigate the death of a 44-year-old male who had been found unresponsive in his cell at the Larimer County Jail. The decedent is identified as Abraham PAETOW of Longmont, Colorado.
A full forensic autopsy was performed on January 8, 2024, at the Larimer County Forensic Sciences Center by Dr. J. White, D.O.
The results of the investigation concluded the following:
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death: Sudden Cardiac Death due to Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
No other information will be released by this office.
