Interstate 25 Vehicle Fatality – 12/25/2023
On December 25, 2023, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to the location of Interstate 25 at Milepost 262 in Fort Collins, Colorado, for a single motor vehicle crash fatality. The vehicle caught on fire from the crash and the driver/sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The decedent is identified as 25-year-old Jonah FERRARA of Fort Collins, Colorado.
A full forensic autopsy was performed on December 26, 2023, at the Larimer County Forensic Sciences Center by Associate Forensic Pathologist Dr. Michael Burson.
The cause and manner of death are pending further investigation. Once the investigation is complete, we will post an updated press release.
