Request for Proposals (RFP) now open for marina services in Larimer County

The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids from marina concessionaires to provide services at Horsetooth Reservoir and Carter Lake. The solicitation can be found at bidnetdirect.com/colorado/larimer-county and closes August 25, 2023.

Prior to Request for Proposals, Larimer County solicited community members to provide desired marina operation and services ideas to maintain and/or improve the overall visitor experience. These components are reflected in the open solicitation.

Nearly 70 years ago, Larimer County partnered with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) to operate and manage recreation at its reservoir parks, including Horsetooth and Carter Lake reservoirs. The partnership between USBR and the county remains in place today, with an estimated 1.5 million people visiting the reservoir parks each year to enjoy its offerings.
