On April 11, 2019, Loveland resident Richard Todd Henson (03/11/1963) was arrested on a warrant for Violation of Bail Bond Conditions (class 6 felony), Possession of Controlled Substance (class 4 drug felony), and Special Offender (class 1 drug felony).  He was booked into the Larimer County Jail and released about four hours later after posting $10,000 bond.  This arrest is part of a much larger Northern Colorado Drug Task Force (NCDTF) investigation.

Over a year ago, the NCDTF received information on their tip line about possible illegal narcotics activity.  Investigators followed up on the tip and launched an investigation reaching as far as Mexico and California.  Three men sold methamphetamines to undercover NCDTF investigators which eventually led to the arrest of Henson on January 4, 2019.  He was booked into the Larimer County Jail on an arrest warrant for two counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance (class 2 drug felony) with a $5,000 bond.  He posted bond and was released the same day.

On February 28, NCDTF investigators executed two search warrants at Fort Collins homes in the 2300 block of West County Road 38 and 3700 block of South Taft Hill Road.  Investigators arrested Edgar Josue Gonzalez-Macias (01/04/1988) and Jose Reynaldo Gonzalez-Macias (08/13/1983), both of Fort Collins.  Edgar was booked into the Larimer County Jail on three counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance (class 1 drug felony) and bond was set at $10,000.  Jose was booked on one count of Distribution of a Controlled Substance (class 1 drug felony) and bond was set at $7,500.

On March 1, the NCDTF executed a third search warrant at a home in the 100 block of East 4th Street in Loveland.  The three search warrants yielded 10 pounds of methamphetamine and five handguns, one of which was reported stolen in Evans, CO.  Investigators estimate the street value of the meth to be about $60,000.

Jose and Edgar Gonzalez-Macias posted their bonds and were released on March 1 and March 2, respectively.  Neither appeared in court as directed and Failure to Appear warrants have been issued for them.  Investigators have information indicating they fled to Mexico.

Booking photos are attached.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jose and/or Edgar Gonzalez-Macias is asked to call the NCDTF Tip Line at 970-416-2560 or Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868 where you will remain anonymous and possibly be eligible for a cash reward.

The charges are merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until, and unless, proven guilty.
