Risk Management
The Risk Management Department administers Larimer County's risk management program to minimize harm to the physical, human, fiscal and environmental resources of the County and minimize the total cost of risk to the County.
Services Provided

Administers the County's self insurance programs and insurance policies for workers compensation and property/casualty lines of coverage.

Conducts safety training, ergonomic reviews, and loss control programs.

Identifies and evaluates workplace hazards and devises ways to control or eliminate them.

Administers claims in conjunction with Larimer County's third-party administrator and designated providers.

Conducts claim investigations to identify causes and develop preventive solutions to eliminate the potential for recurrences.
