  • Assessments are available through the end of May 2021 and adhere to COVID-19 protocols.

*To qualify for a free energy assessment, you must be a utility customer of either Fort Collins Utilities or Loveland Water and Power.  Both homeowners and renters are eligible for this free service.

During the assessment a team of Corpsmembers 

  • Conduct a basic inspection of your home’s insulation, appliances, windows, toilets, and heating/cooling system.
  • Install appropriate efficiency measures based on your home’s needs. These products may include LED light bulbs, water conserving shower-heads and aerators, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, clotheslines and high-efficiency toilets.
  • Educate you about water and energy efficiency practices and services.
In-home Assessment
  • Our staff would come out to your home to discuss your needs and concerns. At that time, we would install your desired efficiency measures. In-home assessments typically last about an hour and will adhere to COVID-19 protocols.  *In order to receive a High Efficiency Toilet replacement, an in-home assessment is required.

Virtual Assessment
  • Our staff will meet with you either by phone or via Google Teams or Zoom to discuss your needs and concerns. This will allow us to virtually tour your home and recommend which efficiency measures best suit your needs. Upon completion of the virtual assessment, a package of products will be delivered to your home in a contact less delivery for you to personally install the efficiency products yourself.  *In order to receive a High Efficiency Toilet replacement, an in-home assessment is required.
