Forestry Crew

Hiring: 1 Crew Leader, 1 Assistant Crew Leader, 6 Corpsmembers

The Forestry Crew performs various conservation projects. Projects focus on hazardous tree removal, fire mitigation, and invasive species removal using chainsaws on public and private lands throughout the community.

  • Ages: 18 - 25 year olds
  • Summer program
  • Front country camping Monday - Thursday for eight weeks
  • Chainsaw work and invasive species removal

Fire Recovery Crew

Hiring: 1 Crew Leader, 1 Assistant Crew Leader, 8 Corpsmembers

The Fire Recovery Crew performs various conservation projects across the Cameron Peak Burn Area. Projects focus on ecological restoration, invasive species removal, erosion control, post fire debris clean-up, and other conservation projects.

  • Ages: 18 - 25 year olds
  • 8 week summer program
  • Front country camping Monday - Thursday for portions of the season
  • Ecological restoration, erosion control, and post fire debris clean-up.

Land Crew

Hiring: 1 Crew Leader, 1 Assistant Crew Leader, 8 Corpsmembers

The Land Crew performs various conservation projects. Projects typically focus on ecological restoration, invasive species removal, fence construction, trail building and maintenance, and other conservation projects.

  • Ages: 16 - 18 year olds
  • 8 week summer program
  • Front country camping Monday - Thursday for portions of the season with a minimum of 2 weeks
  • Trail maintenance and invasive species management
