Looking for additional skills or training to transition or advance your career?  LCEWD may be able to help you take the next step in your education, training or career and help you learn a new skill, become licensed or earn an industry recognized degree or certification.

You may be eligible for training if one the statements below apply to you.

  1. Due to COVID-19, you or your household experienced financial hardship or your education was interrupted.
  2. You have experienced a recent layoff and were eligible to receive Unemployment Insurance benefits.
  3. You are a veteran or eligible spouse of a veteran.
  4. You are receiving public assistance such as SNAP or TANF.
  5. You identify as a member of one the these groups:

These are basic eligibility requirements and there are other circumstances that may qualify you for training funds.  If you are not sure, please apply.  

Let's get started.   

  1. Complete the training interest form and tell us a little bit about you and your career interests.  
  2. A training coordinator with LCEWD will review your form and help determine programs for which you may be eligible.  
  3. LCEWD offers a wide variety of programs and services.  If you don't qualify for training services our workforce experts can connect you to other job seeker services.

  • Additional information and documentation may be required to determine final program eligibility.  A staff member will contact you regarding next steps, if needed.
