The Larimer County/Peak to Peak Wood collection site at Stove Prairie, 2969 Stove Prairie Road, will close on Saturday, July 11, 2009. Larimer County and Peak to Peak will return in the spring of 2010.
 
Larimer County and Peak to Peak Wood would like to thank those who participated this season and would like to thank the Colard family for allowing set up on their property. The Larimer County/Peak to Peak Wood Sort Yard opened last April to take wood from forest thinning, fire mitigation, and beetle-kill.  Larimer County is partnering with four other Front Range counties, the Town of Estes Park, the Colo. State Parks, Colo. State Forest Service (CSFS), and the United States Forest Service (USFS) to promote forest health through forest thinning and fire mitigation.
