Garbage Garage Education Center Closed Week of August 20-24, 2012

Larimer County, Colorado— The Garbage Garage Education Center at the Larimer County Landfill will be closed the week of August 20, 2012  (Monday through Friday) due to construction for outdoor upgrades during the week.  A 16- by 24-foot “lean-to” type cover will be installed on the south end of the building to better accommodate and facilitate outdoor activities during rainy or hot, sunny days. 

 

            The Garage Garage is expected to reopen on Tuesday, August 28, and follow its regular open drop-in schedule of Tuesdays,  Thursdays, and Fridays from 10am to 2pm.  Tours can also be scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays.   For further information or to schedule a tour, contact Rose Watson, Environmental Educator, at (970) 498-5772 or e-mail: rwatson@larimer.org.
