Missing woman found safe.

McKenna Fowler, age 20 of Longmont, Colorado was found unresponsive in the Big Thompson River on May 20, 2019, was then transported to a hospital and died on May 21, 2019.

 

Based upon investigation and autopsy findings, McKenna Fowler died of asphyxia by drowning with subsequent hypoxic brain injury.  Hypothermia as well as multiple blunt force injuries were contributory.  There were also superficial sharp force injuries.  The manner of death is determined to be suicide.

Delinquent property tax statements for the property tax year 2018 payable in 2019 will hit mailboxes later this week. Taxpayers who submitted payment within the last couple of weeks may still receive a delinquent statement in the mail due to the printing and mailing process.

The skeletal remains found on July 5, 2019 in RMNP have been positively identified by the Larimer County Coroner's Office as Micah Tice, age 20, from Las Vegas Nevada.

On July 4, 2019 a tubing accident in the Poudre River resulted in transport of a male to Medical Center of the Rockies where he died on July 5, 2019 at 3:50 am.

The decedent is identified as Matthew Spates, Age 26 of Fort Collins, Colorado

Manner of Death is Accident

Cause of Death is Fresh Water Drowning

Larimer County Coroner Office responded to a death at a home in Berthoud, CO on July 2, 2019.  The decedent is identified as Joseph Laccesaglia, age 44 of Berthoud, CO and is a Weld County Deputy Sheriff.  Law enforcement escorted the deceased to the Larimer County Coroner Office in Fort Collins.  An autopsy was performed on July 3, 2019.

Manner of death is determined to be Natural

Cause of death is determined to be rupture with hemopericardium and cardiac tamponade due to a myocardial infarction.

Larimer County Coroner Office responded to the scene of a motorcycle fatality on I25 at MM 265.8 on June 27, 2019.  The decedent was pronounced at the scene at 2:30 am.

The decedent is Joseph Kroiss, age 38 of Greeley, Colorado.

Manner of Death is determined to be Accident
