DIVE RESCUE TEAM CONTINUES TO SEEK NEW MEMBERS
| What: |
The Larimer County Dive Rescue Team (LCDRT) is looking for energetic and enthusiastic candidates who are highly motivated and are eager to serve the community. We are especially seeking volunteers interested in a non-operational (i.e. non-responding) role to support the team in fundraising activities. No experience required. Initial responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, helping with the team’s fundraising activities. This will involve researching how other dive rescue teams in the U.S. do their fundraising in order to identify best practices, and identifying opportunities for fundraising. Experience and/or willingness to help in writing grants is also a plus! Additional opportunities are available to become an operational (i.e. responds to rescue and recovery missions) member of LCDRT. We welcome those interested in both in-water and shore-support roles. |

| About LCDRT: | Larimer County Dive Rescue is an all-volunteer 501c3 rescue organization dedicated to providing emergency water services for the citizens of Larimer County – and statewide upon request. Our organization is one charged with a mission of water rescue/recovery (surface and subsurface) for Larimer County, Colorado. We have been in existence since 1972. The current level of training and expertise within our team is on the same level or higher than many paid organizations. In addition to our life safety and rescue mission, we perform underwater criminal investigation, evidence search and victim and vehicle recovery for the law enforcement agencies within our response area. |
