All Unemployment Benefits Claimants will have to verify your ID to continue receiving Unemployment Benefits.

In order to safeguard the integrity of Colorado’s unemployment program, all claimants who have not yet verified their identity through ID.me will need to verify their identity.

How It Works

  • You verify your identity by uploading a photo of your government ID along with a selfie.  Many claimants are able to complete this self-guided process within 15 minutes and it can be completed 24-hours per day, 7 days a week.
  • This step-by-step guide walks you through the complete identity verification process.
  • If that method doesn’t work, you can speak with a person on a video call. To schedule a video call ID.me appointment please call 303.536.5615.
  • Para obtener información en español sobre ID.me, haga click aquí.

Please note that workforce center staff can not assist in the process of identity verification.  Unfortunately, this includes Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development.

Work-search requirements are in place. You are required to complete work-search activities every week to be paid benefits unless you are job attached.  Have questions on what qualifies as a work-search activity?  Visit the Information on Unemployment Insurance work search requirements page.
