Larimer County Offices, Courts, District Attorney, and Landfill will be closed on Nov. 26, 2020, for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Larimer County Offices will remain closed on Nov. 27, 2020, but the Courts, District Attorney, and Landfill will be open. Critical county services are not disrupted by closures.

The 2021 Larimer County Proposed Budget is now available online. The budget includes nearly $582 million in expenditures for items such as:

  • Capital Project investments in County infrastructure like a new behavioral health facility, wider roads and new bridges, expanded facilities at solid waste and The Ranch, a new campground, and more.
  • Budgets for important services including everything from parks and open space, to alternatives to incarceration, to human services and code enforcement.

The Larimer County Board of County Commissioners will review the budget over the next two months. This is your opportunity to:

  1. Explore the budget documents online
  2. Provide feedback on which services you think should be prioritized using our Build Your Own Budget online tool 
  3. Contacting the Board of County Commissioners.

The 2021 County Budget will be adopted on December 18, 2020
