Yesterday, Larimer County lost one of the bravest members of our family. The Board of Commissioners is deeply saddened to recognize the tragic and untimely death of one of our Department of Natural Resources Rangers.

We are sending all of our love and support to the family and friends of our dear colleague. Please know that you are not alone; our hearts break with you.  We hope you find strength in our special community during this dark and unfathomable time.

The loss of an active member of our agency is one of our greatest fears.  This tragedy is a very real and painful reminder to us all of how the men and women of our law enforcement and first-responders put their lives on the line every day for us. We admire and value the work they do to keep our community safe.
