Updated information on Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Larimer County

Larimer County Offices, Courts, and District Attorney will be closed July 3rd, 2020 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The Landfill will be open July 3rd and closed on July 4, 2020. Critical services at Larimer County are not disrupted by closures.

  • Is your small business in need of COVID-related legal assistance? The Colorado COVID Small Business Legal Program is a joint effort between the Office of the Colorado Attorney General, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, the law firms of WilmerHale and Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP and the Colorado Lawyers Committee. They provide a match service between small businesses and legal volunteers and are also producing a series of webinars and legal information specifically relevant to businesses impacted by COVID. They are also recruiting lawyers who can volunteer some time and expertise to keep small businesses going.  
  • Last call to apply for Payroll Protection Program (PPP) CARES funding  The deadline to apply for the Payroll Protection Program is this upcoming Tuesday, June 30, 2020. The program still has funds available. The online Lender Match can help businesses locate a lender who can process your PPP loan. The SBA also has a PPP tool to review application requirements.
  • Does your business have questions about Public Health requirements and guidelines?  Larimer County’s state-approved variance allows businesses to open to a greater extent than many other counties in Colorado. Within this variance, the Health Department is working with businesses to safely reopen, and this includes hosting question and answer sessions.
  • Are you hiring?  Not sure how to reach candidates? LCEWD is hosting virtual hiring events to connect businesses to job seekers. Register for a 30-minute weekly session.
  • Show your employees and customers that your business takes safety seriously and follows the local and state rules for Safer-at-Home is to put up clear signage. Various organizations have developed “print your own” posters for businesses for masks and for other safety best practices or requirements.
