Larimer County urges visitors to do their part in stopping the spread of COVID-19 when visiting any park or open space by:

  • Maintaining a safe distance between yourself and other people – 6 feet is recommended, even on the trail;
  • Keeping group size to under ten people and no congregating at overlooks, trailheads, or restroom areas;
  • Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; or bringing your own alcohol-based hand sanitizer;
  • Avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; and covering your mouth and nose with your elbow or shirt when you cough or sneeze;
  • Staying home if you feel sick;
  • Knowing before you go – Check online webcams and https://trails.colorado.gov/places/na~2097669 for parking availability and latest trail conditions.

As this situation evolves, restrictions and closures are subject to change. For more information on COVID-19, please visit larimer.org/coronavirus. For more information on Natural Resources, please visit larimer.org/naturalresources.
