Caring for a parent, family member or loved one can become an additional load in our daily lives.

A coalition that includes the Larimer County Office on Aging is sponsoring three classes that offer strategies to reduce the stress of caregiving for family members and loved ones.

“Powerful Tools for Caregivers,” and “Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers” are being offered in Fort Collins and Loveland, starting soon.   


Powerful Tools for Caregivers, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., [Wednesdays], March 18 – April 22, Elderhaus, 6813 S. College Ave., Fort Collins, Colorado. Call [970] 221-0406 to register.


Powerful Tools for Caregivers, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., [Tuesdays], April 14 – May 19, St. John’s Lutheran Church, 305 E. Elizabeth St., Fort Collins, Colorado. Call [970] 495-8560 to register.


Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., [Thursdays], April 30 – June 25, Stepping Stones Adult Day Center, 302 3rd St. SE, Ste. 100, Loveland, Colorado. Call [970] 495-8560 to register.
