Connecting and strengthening communities plus learning to be better prepared in an emergency is again being offered at the 2019 Northern Colorado Family Safety and Emergency Preparedness Expo at the Ranch in Loveland.

Larimer and Weld County join together to offer the Family Safety and Preparedness Expo from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Oct. 5, 2019 at the Thomas McKee 4H Building at the Ranch Events Complex, 5280 Arena Circle, Loveland, Colorado. The event is free and open to the public.

Enjoy a fun, family atmosphere and win survival kits, emergency preparedness supplies, backpacks and other useful gear to help in the event of an emergency.

Meet some of your local first responders --- the ones who provide emergency services for residents in Weld and Larimer County. Tour various emergency vehicles, and equipment on display specifically designed to provide a variety of functions during an emergency.

Also offered are take-home safety education classes and life-saving classes at the expo. You’ll leave with valuable knowledge on how be safer, be better prepared to save a life, while also better prepared in an emergency.
