Larimer County Offices, Courts, and District Attorney will be closed on February 17, 2020, in observance of the Presidents’ Day holiday. The Larimer County Landfill will be open. Critical services at Larimer County are not disrupted by closures.

The Larimer County Treasurer’s Office will be posting orange tag notices starting next week through the month of September for mobile homes with delinquent 2018 property taxes payable in 2019.

The tags are an additional courtesy reminder to pay by September 28 to avoid further statutory fees in October and possible tax lien sale in November. Beginning on September 3, all past-due taxes and fees must be paid with cash or certified funds only.

Larimer County Treasurer Irene Josey reminds taxpayers they have two options when paying their property taxes to avoid interest and fees. If paying in full, the deadline was April 30, 2019.  If paying in two equal installments, the first half was due by February 28, and the second half was due by June 15.

If you have questions regarding the status of your property taxes, please call the Larimer County Treasurer’s Office at 970-498-7020 or visit our website at
