Caring for a parent, family member or loved one can become an additional load in our daily lives.

A coalition that includes the Larimer County Office on Aging is sponsoring two classes that offer strategies to reduce the stress of caregiving for family members and loved ones.

Two classes are being offered in Loveland and Fort Collins respectively.  

“Powerful Tools for Caregivers”
Thursdays, Sept. 12 to Oct. 17

4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Loveland Public Library
300 N. Adams Ave, Loveland CO

Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers
Fridays, Sept. 20 to Nov. 15
10:30 a.m. to noon
Elderhaus Adult Day Program
6813 S. College Ave., Fort Collins, CO
Call [970] 221-0406 to register.

The classes can help reduce stress, balance your life as a caregiver, better communicate your feelings, handle emotions and find helpful resources.
