Larimer County 101 [LC101] is a free, ten-week class introducing residents to the many services Larimer County government provides and by the people who provide them.

LC101 class members get an inside look at how Larimer County works, and interact with elected officials and staff. The class meets on Thursday nights from March 21, 2019 to May 23, 2019 at county locations in Fort Collins and Loveland.

Class size is limited to 35, and fills up quickly. Apply online at the LC101 webpage: Registration opens Feb. 1, 2019, and the deadline to apply is March 1, 2019.

LC101 is an interactive class, and members tour county facilities like The Ranch, the Sheriff’s Office, Alternative Sentencing, Community Corrections, and the Larimer County Landfill. Class members learn about the county budget, elections, land-use, building roads and bridges, human services, public health, economic development, property taxes, the District Attorney’s Office, Coroner, and much more.
