On January 12, 2019 a shooting occurred in the 2600 block of Bradbury Court, Fort Collins, Colorado.  The injured person was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies and subsequently died on January 14, 2019.

The deceased is identified as Joshua Moore, age 36 of Fort Collins, Colorado.

A forensic autopsy was performed by Larimer County Coroner James A. Wilkerson IV, MD, who determined the

Manner of Death is Suicide

Cause of Death is gunshot wound of the head.

On January 8, 2019, at about 6:00 p.m., Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the area of West County Road 4 and County Road 23E west of Berthoud to reports of a man yelling and cursing in front of a home.  When deputies arrived, they encountered a man they believed was armed with a weapon and a deputy fired his weapon at the man.  The man was not hit and barricaded himself inside the home.
