Clean energy, efficiency for old buildings with C-PACE

Fatal Fort Collins motorcycle accident February 27, 2020

On February 27, 2020 a motorcycle accident occurred at approximately 23.27 (11:27 pm), the driver was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies where he died  on 2/28 at 0008 (12:08 am).

 

Accident location:  Rock Creek Drive and Corbett Drive, Fort Collins

 

Decedent is identified as Aaron K. Hootman II, age 36, Yorkville, Illinois

 

Manner of Death:  Accident

 

Cause of Death:  Blunt force injury of the head

Coffee carts in Estes Park fight teen suicide

Estes Park High School was awarded a grant by the Larimer County Behavioral Health Services department in October 2019 to pilot a unique, student-driven program using coffee carts as a way to help students connect, share, and prevent suicide.

Decedent is identified as  Kameo Bruce, age 25, Longmont, CO

Fort Collins Shooting Death ruled Suicide

On February 18, 2020 the Larimer County Coroner's Office responded to a death at Medical Center of the Rockies.

The deceased male is identified as Scott Rothgery, age 47 of Fort Collins, Colorado.

An autopsy was performed.  The manner of death is determined to be Suicide.  The cause of death is determined to be self inflicted gunshot wound of the head.

February 17, 2020 Fort Collins Shooting Death ruled Homicide

On February 17, 2020 the Larimer County Coroner's Office responded to a death in the 6500 block of Lynn Drive, Fort Collins, Colorado.

The deceased female is identified as Robin Barrett, age 56 of Fort Collins, Colorado.

An autopsy was performed.  The manner of death is determined to be Homicide.  The cause of death is determined to be gunshot wound of the head.

The decedent was fatally shot by Scott Rothgery, age 47 of Fort Collins, Colorado, who resided at the same address.

Coroner ID of Larimer County Jail Inmate Death on 2/18/2020

On February 18, 2020 Larimer County Coroner responded to the Larimer County Jail for a deceased female inmate.

Notification of next-of-kin has been made.

The decedent has been identified as Jenny Roelfs, age 30 of Loveland, Colorado.

An autopsy was performed.  Manner and Cause of death are pending toxicology.  Foul play is not suspected.

Deceased person - Pingree Park, Bellvue, February 10, 2020

Larimer County Coroner responded to a death scene in the area of Old Flowers Road and Pingree Park Road, Bellvue, Colorado on February 10, 2020.

 

The decedent is identified as Stanley Scott Sessions, Age 53.

 

A forensic autopsy was performed by James A Wilkerson IV, MD, Larimer County Coroner

 

Manner of Death is determined to be Homicide.

 

Cause of Death will not be released at this time as case is still under investigation.
