Apply for Larimer County 101 [LC-101] a free, 9-week class introducing citizens to the many services Larimer County provides and the people who provide them. LC-101 offers an inside look at how Larimer County works, and interaction with elected officials and staff.

Class sessions meet Thursday nights, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., March 22, 2018 to May 24, 2018 at county locations in and around Fort Collins. Class size is limited, and the class fills up fast. Apply on-line at the County’s LC-101 webpage:  https://www.larimer.org/LC101.  The deadline is March 4, 2018.

LC-101 is interactive, and members tour county facilities like The Ranch, the Sheriff’s Office, Alternative Sentencing, Community Corrections, and the Larimer County Landfill.  Class members learn about the county budget, elections, land-use, building roads and bridges, understanding human services, public health, jobs and economic development, how property taxes are assessed, the District Attorney’s Office, the Coroner, and much more.
