Larimer County Search and Rescue (LCSAR) is thrilled to announce that the Hanging with the Heroes benefit, held in June at the Larimer County Ranch Events Complex, raised over $65,000! Funds will go toward member training and the replacement and maintenance of team gear.

Hanging with the Heroes was a fun-filled night that included both live and silent auctions, a live band, two amazing keynote speakers, and more. An unplanned reminder of LCSAR’s 24/7/365 availability also made an appearance as pagers went off throughout the room, asking LCSAR to respond to a mission up Rist Canyon.

We would like to thank all of our donors! Your financial contributions, donations of goods and services for our auctions, and your support in coming out to have a great evening with us were what made this event a tremendous success. Special thanks to FireHouse Self Storage and Skyline Moving Company for their key sponsorship and planning of Hanging with the Heroes.

Larimer County Search and Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of its community members to be able to fulfill their mission to find the lost, rescue the injured or stranded, and educate the community on wilderness safety. We are available 24/7/365 and do not charge for our services.

If you didn’t make it to Hanging with the Heroes but would still like to donate to Larimer County Search and Rescue, please visit us at Donate today to help save a life tomorrow!
