Northern Colorado Building Environmental Education Together (NOCO BEET) is a collaborative of environmental education providers who are coming together with the common goal of supporting each other and providing impactful and effective environmental education opportunities for local youth. We are a new coalition, looking to increase our recognition and reach. Towards this end, we are commissioning the creation of a logo for use in our online, social media and print outreach efforts.

Centered on the NOCO BEET mission:

  • To cultivate a network of Northern Colorado educators who collaborate, support, and provide resources to increase student access to impactful and effective environmental education.
  • No more than two colors
  • Includes some variation of NOCO BEET, NOCO Building Environmental Education Together, etc.
  • Although our acronym is NOCO BEET, we are requesting no beets (of the root vegetable variety) in the logo.

  • Logos submitted for consideration can be in any raster file type (.jpg, .png, .tif, .gif, etc.) but the winning selection will subsequently require the submission of a Vector file (.ai, .eps, .svg, etc.)
  • Please submit files to kristen.wilkinson@colostate.edu. You must also include your name, contact phone number and email address.
  • Submissions must be received by Friday, April 30, 2020.
  • The competition is open to anyone.

The winning submission will receive a generous gift basket of goodies from our partnering organizations. Some examples of what's included are:

  • The Gardens on Spring Creek: A Certificate for one registration to an adult class of their choice and two guests passes to The Gardens and Butterfly House.
  • Rocky Mountain Raptor Program: 60 Minute Tour with visits from some feathered ambassadors.
  • Four free passes to SNAG golf and water bottles & other small items from City of Loveland Open Lands & Trails.
