The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires the creation of comprehensive regional and local workforce development plans outlining the workforce development strategy for the area.

The Larimer Area Local Plan was drafted in consultation with the Workforce Development Board and our core WIOA partners.  WIOA is designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy.  The  annual plan serves as the main planning document for WIOA funded programs operated by Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development.

Planning Period

The multi-year plan is for July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2023 and is updated annually.  Updates to the plan are highlighted in yellow.

Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development (LCEWD) hereby gives notice that LCEWD is accepting public comment on the proposed WIOA Local Area Plan until 3:00 p.m. on May 16, 2022.
