Children with delays are at great disadvantage. They suffer socially, educationally and psychologically. They often do poorly in school and then poorly in their relationships and careers. Fortunately, research shows that provision of appropriate therapies from an early age can make a huge difference in their lives.
Kids Initiative for Developmental Supports (KIDS) has gathered professionals from numerous developmental, educational, and social services providers in our community with the goal of optimizing a coordinated system that supports informed parents/caregivers, universal standardized screening and effective referrals. As a medical provider in our community we are certain that you have many of the same goals for the children you see in your practice. We have many resources available to help you meet the needs of children in your practice.
