Colorado's statewide public health orders that include the Dial 3.0 will become a local option for each county as of Friday, April 16th.

A Larimer County Public Health Order will become effective April 16th and be in effect for 30 days. Under the local Order, capacity restrictions will be closely aligned to the dial's current "Level Blue" and will put an emphasis on utilizing outdoor spaces and limiting large gatherings indoors. As the vaccination numbers continue to climb, and we see the positive results of vaccinations in those in our community who are most susceptible, we are encouraged that local guidelines may not need to be in place beyond mid-May if case rates and hospitalizations decline.

With all businesses moving to the same set of simplified guidelines and capacity restrictions, and no dial levels to "Level Up" to as of April 16th, whether the program will be discontinued or paused will need to be determined. We will discuss the future of the Level Up program with partners and hope this is the start of a collaboration that can continue well after we are through the pandemic and the return to normal.
