Health department facilities have reopened and many services are operating at limited capacity. Reproductive health and immunization clinic services are available by appointment. Please call 970-498-6767 for more information or to schedule.

Birth and death certificates can be obtained online, by mail, or by fax. Visit the webpage linked below for Birth and Death Records for more information.

  • Water samples for testing can be dropped off at our Fort Collins office Tuesday between 8am and 4pm. Holidays may impact the ability to accept water samples due to the requirements of the testing lab. Please check with us about bringing water samples if a holiday falls in a given week.

In Larimer County, cases of COVID-19 have significantly decreased in recent weeks, reducing the strain on our local hospitals, allowing us to gather with our friends and loved ones again, and helping to strengthen our economy. In May alone, COVID-19 cases decreased 70%, thanks to vaccination. By Larimer County Public Health Director Tom Gonzales, MPH, REHS.

Vaccinate Pets to Protect Them from Rabies

The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment has confirmed that a bat in Larimer County has tested positive for rabies. This is the first rabid bat found in Larimer County this year. A dog had contact with the rabid bat but was up to date on rabies vaccinations.

Larimer County Health Department To End Local Public Health Orders As Community Gets Vaccinated

Larimer County, Colo. – The Larimer County Department of Health & Environment (LCDHE) is set to expire local public health orders related to COVID-19 at 11:59 PM on May 16, 2021. Beginning 12:00 AM on May 17, Larimer County will be required to follow Colorado Amended Public Health Order 20-38: Limited COVID-19 Restrictions.
