Trail Crew
The Trail Crew is a full-time, temporary summer position for young adults, between the ages of 18-25.
Throughout the season corpsmembers:
- Perform trail construction/repair and maintenance projects in Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forest.
- Camp for the duration of the summer, including backcountry (crews are expected to camp Monday – Thursday).
- Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement.
Upon successful completion of the program, corpsmembers may be eligible to receive a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.
Crew Leader
Term of Service: May 23, 2022 - September 30, 2022 (tentative)
Benefit: $18 per hour. This position may qualify for academic credit

Assistant Crew Leader:
The Assistant Trail Crew Leader is a seasonal position mentoring a crew of eight young adults who perform various conservation projects.
Term of Service: Temporary, full-time position from May 23, 2022 - September 30, 2022 (tentative)
Stipend Allotment: $11,517.44 total stipend (paid in biweekly increments of $1,151.74)
AmeriCorps Benefit: $2,417.14 AmeriCorps Education Award upon completion for qualified individuals (this position may qualify for academic credit)

Short-Term Forestry Crew
The Forestry Crew is a full-time, temporary summer position for young adults, ages 18-25. For the 2022 season the LCCC will have two Forestry Crews.
Throughout the season corpsmembers:
- Become S-212 certified for safe and effective chainsaw use.
- Complete tree removal, fire mitigation and restoration projects on public lands throughout Larimer County.
- Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement.
Upon successful completion of the program, corpsmembers may be eligible to receive a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.

- Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement
