Register with your Workforce Center

Registering at your local workforce center is done by creating an account in Connecting Colorado, a statewide job search site. It is a convenient and secure site for employers to post their open positions and for job seekers to search for work utilizing a variety of filters. Within your account, you can upload and store job search documents, such as a resume or cover letter.

It is important to understand that even if you have previously registered in Connecting Colorado, when your account is not utilized, it goes “inactive” and can look to the Unemployment Insurance system as though you are not registered. After updating your account, please continue to go back into your account once every 30 days to keep it “active”.  You do not have to apply for jobs in Connecting Colorado, you can look at the job postings and other resources available for your job search.

If you receive an “error” message when attempting to register in Connecting Colorado, please contact us at lcewd-workforceconnections@larimer.org or 970.498.6600. It is likely that you have a previous account, and we can assist you in updating it. Be sure to accurately complete the Unemployment Insurance Status portion of your account by choosing the correct status of your unemployment claim and answering “yes” when asked if you are work registered.
