Positions Coming in Spring 2022

Land Crew

The Land Crew is a full-time, temporary summer position for young adults, between the ages of 16-18.  

Throughout the season corpsmembers:

  • Serve on local, state and federal lands throughout Northern Colorado
  • Perform projects such as trail construction and maintenance, ecological restoration and invasive species management
  • Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement

Upon successful completion of the program, corpsmembers may be eligible to receive a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.


Trail Crews 

The RMNP Trail Crew is a full-time, temporary summer position for young adults, between the ages of 18-25.  

Throughout the season corpsmembers:

  • Perform trail construction/repair and maintenance projects at Rocky Mountain National Park.
  • Camp for the duration of the summer, including backcountry (crews are expected to camp Monday – Thursday).
  • Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement.

Upon successful completion of the program, corpsmembers may be eligible to receive a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.

 

The US Forest Service Trail Crew is a full-time, temporary summer position for young adults, between the ages of 18-25.  

Throughout the season corpsmembers:

  • Perform trail construction/repair and maintenance projects on the Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forest Lands.
  • Camp for the duration of the summer, including backcountry (crews are expected to camp Monday – Thursday).
  • Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement.

Upon successful completion of the program, corpsmembers may be eligible to receive a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.


Forestry Crew 

The Forestry Crew is a full-time, temporary summer position for young adults, ages 18-25.

Throughout the season corpsmembers:

  • Become S-212 certified for safe and effective chainsaw use.
  • Complete tree removal, fire mitigation and restoration projects on public lands throughout Larimer County.
  • Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement.

Upon successful completion of the program, corpsmembers may be eligible to receive a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.


Fire Recovery Crew 

The Fire Recovery Crew is a full-time, temporary summer position for young adults, ages 18-25.

Throughout the season corpsmembers:

  • Complete conservation projects related to post fire restoration and erosion control. 
  • Serve on public and private lands throughout Northern Colorado. 
  • Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement.

Upon successful completion of the program, corpsmembers may be eligible to receive a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.


Positions available in Fall 2022

Water & Energy Crew

The Water & Energy Crew is a full-time, temporary position January through May 2022 for young adults, between the ages of 18-25.  

Throughout the season corpsmembers:

  • Receive the necessary training and education to perform home efficiency assessments. 
  • Install efficiency products and provide water and energy conservation education to residents.
  • Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement.

Upon successful completion of the program, corpsmembers may be eligible to receive a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.
