South Bay Swim Beach Litter Cleanup - Horsetooth Reservoir

Horsetooth Reservoir is a popular place for July 4th weekend and lots of trash is often left behind. Help us keep Horsetooth Reservoir beautiful by picking up litter at South Bay swim beach.

Sign up as a group, family or individual.
This activity is suitable for all ages (youth under 16 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult).
Please bring your own litter cleanup supplies: gloves, grocery bags, trash bags (some available).
Bring water, snacks and prepare to be outside.
A parking pass is required for this site.

Once registered, you'll receive a confirmation email with more information. This is a self-directed event, you are welcome to start cleanup any time between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (no need to check-in prior).

If needed, litter cleanup supplies will be available July 6 at Horsetooth Area Information Center. Keep track of the number of trash bags you collect & report it on the Feedback Form you'll receive after the event.

Volunteers can pick up at the swim beach, picnic tables, & parking lot of South Bay.
