Ramsay-Shockey Open Space Litter Cleanup

Ramsay-Shockey Open Space is a popular place for July 4th weekend and lots of trash is often left behind. Help us keep Ramsay-Shockey Open Space beautiful by picking up litter at this scenic location.

Sign up as a group, family or individual.
This activity is suitable for all ages (youth under 16 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult).
Please bring your own litter cleanup supplies: gloves, grocery bags, trash bags (some available).
Bring water, snacks and prepare to be outside.
A parking pass is required for this site.

Once registered, you'll receive a confirmation email with more information. This is a self-directed event, you are welcome to start the cleanup any time between 9 am - 4 pm that works best for you (no need to check-in).

If needed, litter cleanup supplies will be available July 6 at the Administration Offices (Carter Lake District). Keep track of the number of trash bags you collect & report it on the Feedback Form you'll receive after the event.

Volunteers can pick up along the shoreline and parking lot.
