Lunar Eclipse Viewing
Join volunteers from the Northern Colorado Astronomical Society (NCAS) for an EARLY morning nearly total lunar eclipse viewing. The height of the eclipse will be at 2AM with most (97%) of the moon taking on the red hue of a total eclipse.

Please drop by any time between 1am and 3am and stay as long as you like. Bring binoculars if you have them and warm layers. Dress for weather 20 degrees colder than the actual temperature for maximum comfort.

You are welcome to bring your own telescope, and the NCAS volunteers will have high-powered scopes for all to look through.

Masks are not required for vaccinated individuals. However, if you are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19, please stay home. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
