Stay on trail. There are so many good reasons for following this Leave No Trace principle. The goal of traveling through natural areas is to avoid damaging land or waterways. Something as simple as staying on trail or avoiding muddy trails can have huge impacts in protecting our open spaces. Staying on trail can also protect wildlife especially during winter when their food sources are low, stresses are high, and mating has begun. Learn how something as simple as staying on trail can lead to conservation.

Weather permitting.
