In early 2021, Larimer County received federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding for Emergency Rent Assistance.

The $10,740,000 distribution helped eligible Larimer County residents with rent and utility assistance. The County's allocated funds were expended by the end of 2021. Neighbor to Neighbor continues to help households with rent and utility assistance through the State of Colorado's Emergency Rent Assistance Program funds and other funding mechanisms.
