Fingerprinting and Background Investigations

All persons with at least 10% ownership interest in the business applying for a liquor license and any manager that is not an owner are required to be fingerprinted and are subject to a criminal background check.

A fee of $100 payable to the local authority is submitted at the time of application for the administration of the fingerprinting process.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigations (CBI) has awarded two contracts allowing third party vendors to electronically print and submit non-criminal applicant fingerprints for the State.  IdentoGO is located at 115 East Harmony Road Suite 210 in Fort Collins.  Schedule an appointment with
