Register to Vote / Update Registration

Register to vote now or update your voter registration by going to votelarimer.org. Ballots will be mailed the week of June 8th for the June 30th Primary Election.

COVID-19 Operations Update
  1. Effective Friday, March 27th, our facilities are closed and locked to the public.
  2. Vehicle Licensing: Our recommended service is by phone. You must first speak to a technician over the phone.  If it is determined that an in-person transaction is required, an appointment will be made for you during that phone conversation.  Phone hours have been extended from 8:00am - 7:00pm, Monday - Friday, call (970) 680-1500, Option 5.  Staff is ready to assist you with your transactions.
  3. Recording - Call 970-498-7860, option 1 to make an appointment to be issued a marriage or civil union license.
  4. Elections will determine if an in-person visit is necessary after providing guidance via email (elections@larimer.org) or phone (970-498-7820).
  5. Only those with an appointment will be permitted access to our facilities.
  6. Barriers have been put in place for visitors who have an appointment to be able to maintain a distance of at least 6' to the staff member completing their in-person transaction.
  7. Many Vehicle Licensing transactions can be completed via phone, mail or internet. Please visit www.larimer.org/eservices for more information. If you have a Recording question, please visit www.larimer.org/recording. For Elections, visit www.votelarimer.org.

As a community, we are learning daily about best practices with respect to COVID-19. Although the risk of being affected by the illness here in Northern Colorado is relatively low at this point, social distancing has been suggested. Here in our public facing areas, we ask that you practice social distancing any time you are not feeling well.
